Mini-S
Ultra-thin overlay system for renovating existing floors without rip-out.
What it is
Mini-S is a thin-build micro-resin formulation designed to overlay existing tiled, vinyl, or concrete floors without removing them. Total system thickness is typically 2 to 3 mm.
Used widely in Dubai apartment renovations where lifting existing tiles is disruptive or prohibited by building rules. The overlay bonds to the existing surface through a specified primer and produces the same continuous joint-free finish as full-thickness microcement.

About Mini-S
Will my doors still close after applying Mini-S?
Almost always yes. 2 to 3 mm is well within standard door undercut. We measure clearance during the site visit.
Can it really go over tiles?
Yes, after a substrate-specific primer that locks the new surface to the tile glaze. Loose or hollow tiles must be repaired first.
Is it as durable as full-thickness microcement?
Top-layer durability is identical. Underneath, durability depends on the existing substrate; we do not specify Mini-S over substrates that are already failing.
Can I use it on walls too?
Mini-S is optimised for floors. For walls, we specify Art Stuc Fino, Art Stuc Grosso, or Idropol depending on grade.
How fast is the renovation?
Typical apartment floor (60 to 80 sqm) takes 6 to 8 working days with no demolition. Compared to tile rip-out + retile, this is 50 to 70% faster.
